Home Taping is Killing Music – Variations. I think that the home taping actually promoted and advertised music, it seems that music industry itself is trying to kill music with million dollar lawsuits against “pirates” who download songs. If the price of a song is one dollar when you buy it and through the court the industry asks for hundreds of thousands per song, I who is the pirate and who is the victim?
Maybe more bands and musicians should start selling and financing their albums through kickstarter like Amanda Palmer.
